Where can I find a list of your product ingredients?

Kudos! You are smarter than the average bear for asking. Since we toot our own horn with the "minimalist mineral makeup and organic skincare" tagline, we think its important you know exactly what goes into our products (and what intentionally doesn't).

What is the shelf life of your products?

Great question!

The answer is "it depends on which product."

Generally, any of our mineral powdered products (SPF 30 Mineral Foundation, Blush, Finishing Powder, Bronzer, Eye Shadow) have an indefinite shelf life. Our mineral line is made with only pure crushed minerals. Minerals by nature are IN-organic (a fancy word for "not derived from living matter"). Inorganic products cannot grow or support mold, bacteria and fungus, and therefore do not require preservatives as long as they are kept dry. Awesome, right?

We recommend using or replacing (preferably using...wink, wink) any of our skin care products containing liquid (i.e., all of them) within six months. Any products containing liquid (water) require preservatives to be safe. We use more natural preservative systems that are proven to keep our products safe, but not for the century long shelf life of commercial products that use chemical preservatives.

We like to think of our organic skin care products like fresh produce. You wouldn't dream of eating an apple that had been chemically preserved for two years...even if it wasn't technically "bad." Why would you want to slather products on your skin (the body's biggest organ) that have been sitting on a shelf for two years? Let's face it...our products work best if you use them daily. And our product sizes are specifically designed to be a 3 to 6 month supply.

Refrigeration can also help prolong shelf life. And applying a cool serum feels amazing.


Buying makeup online is hard. Do you offer samples?

Yes! We offer reasonably priced samples in our uber popular Pick 4 Sampler

Choose four mineral makeup samples from:

• Mineral Blush 
• Mineral Concealer 
• Mineral Bronzer 
• Mineral Finishing Powder

Samples are generous - typically lasting up to two weeks - and come in convenient jars that can be refilled for purse or travel.


Are your products vegan friendly?

For the most part. All of our products are vegan, except our cream concealers - which contain beeswax. Other than beeswax, all of our ingredients are vegan friendly. Our premium, silky soft makeup brushes are also cruelty-free and vegan friendly.


Are your products organic?

We use 100% USDA Certified Organic ingredients in our skincare products whenever possible. Any organic ingredients are labeled as such on our ingredient list and on product labels.

All of the ingredients in our loose mineral makeup products are considered inorganic (which is a fancy word that just means "not consisting of or deriving from living matter"). In other words, in order for an ingredient to be considered "organic," it had to be living at some point. Minerals are inorganic and our mineral makeup is made solely from pure crushed minerals. The awesome thing about products that are made with inorganic materials is that they cannot grow or support bacteria, mold or fungus and do not need added preservatives. You're welcome. :)


Are your products cruelty-free?

Yes! We never ever test our products on animals. Ever. Further, we only use suppliers for our ingredients that have vowed not to test on animals.  We are also certified by Leaping Bunny and the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC) as a cruelty free company.


How do I return/exchange products?

We want our clients to be happy...period. If you are not totally in love with your products for any reason, please return them within 30 days of receipt for a full refund.

We hate waiting too. We make every effort to process your return quickly. That said, please keep in mind transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (2 to 3 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (up to 10 days depending on your bank).

FREE Returns:

If you need to return your item(s), simply:

  1. login to your account,
  2. click on the order containing item(s) for return, and
  3. click the Request Return button.

Once we've received your return request, we will generate a return label and email it to the email address that you provided with your order. You will be notified via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item(s).

That's it! Easy peasy.


How can I check the status of my order?
